AKRON, Ohio June 28, 2021 -- The next generation of basketball stars are bound for Akron, OH as Gold Level Sports & Entertainment and Three-Time NBA champion Danny Green presents The Battle Basketball Showcase on July 2nd through July 4th at St Vincent St Mary High School. The Battle showcase will feature elite high school AAU teams with the featured team being Team Strive For Greatness which is the program created by Akron native Lebron James. Team Strive For Greatness is lead by UCLA commit Amari Bailey and five-star prospect Lebron “Bronny” James Jr. Throughout the showcase they will play the top teams from the midwest area featuring highly touted recruits like Isaac McNeely, Sencire Harris, Gabe Cupps, and Josiah Harris.The Battle platform was built for elite teams to have a chance to compete against each other and this event represents the best of the best.

 

“The combination of individual talent and team acclaim is what makes this a must-see event. The Battle is all about competition and culture, and with this event we’re raising the bar,” said Gold Level Sports & Entertainment CEO, Darren Duncan.

 

“I started my professional career in Cleveland, so it’s awesome to be able to come back and put on an event like this for Northeast Ohio kids,” said NBA Champion, Danny Green
